Roma and Parma are reportedly in talks over a possible deal that would see Nicolas Burdisso and Gabriel Paletta switch clubs.

Burdisso recently revealed that he wants to leave the capital club in order to play with more regularity in order to play for Argentina at this summer’s World Cup.

According to Sky Sport, Roma is looking to send Burdisso to Parma with Paletta heading in the opposite direction.

Talks are still on going as there as the two clubs have different valuations of the Parma defender: the Giallorossi value half of Paletta at close to €3 million, while the Ducali believe that fee is too low.

Burdisso has only made five league appearances for the Lupi this season, while Paletta has only featured in five matches due to an injury plagued campaign.
