Sassuolo have turned their attention to Chievo Verona forward Alberto Paloschi in an attempt to bolster their attack.

Sassuolo are searching for reinforcements as they currently sit in 18th position in Serie A and have also been linked with a move for Inter’s Ishak Belfodil.

According to reports coming from Mediasport, the Neroverdi have made Paloschi their top target and have indicated him as the right player to help them avoid the drop.

While Sassuolo are holding out hope in signing Belfodil after his failed move to West Ham, they are set for talks with Paloschi’s agent Tullio Tinti this week regarding a possible move.

Since transferring to the Bentegodi in 2011, the former Milan youth player has made 63 appearances scoring 13 goals.
