The agent of Jaap Stam has denied reports that his client is close to join the coaching staff of AC Milan’s new manager Clarence Seedorf next season stating that there has been no contact with the Rossoneri at all so far.

Former AC Milan player Stam has been named to follow his fellow country man Seedorf to Milan to fill in the role as assistant manager.

“There’s has not been any contact at all between us and Milan the last days, and besides a transfer to Milan will be a difficult case because Stam has a long-term contract with Ajax [summer of 2016],” Hans van Ginkel told Voetbal International.

Stam, who served the outfits of Lazio and Milan in the Serie A, is currently assistant manager of Ajax coach Frank de Boer.
