Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to make an offer for Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella.

The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Bianconeri this month, as he’s looking for more time on the pitch in hopes of earning a spot in the Azzurri squad for this summer’s World Cup.

According to Metro, Tottenham technical director Franco Baldini will be arranging a meeting with Juventus where he will present a bid of around €5 million for the former Udinese man.

Quagliarella joined the Old Lady from Napoli in 2010 and has scored a total of 23 goals in his 80 Serie A appearances for the club since then, with just one goal in 13 league appearances this season thus far.

The striker made his debut for the senior Italian national team in 2007 and has scored six goals in 25 appearances for his country.
