Valencia striker Helder Postiga will become a Lazio player pending the successful completion of his medical on Thursday evening.
The clubs have been locked in talks for the past week with a deal finally set to go through before the end of the transfer window.
A statement on the official website of the Spanish club read: “A deal has been reached, pending the relevant medical, for the loan of Helder Postiga to S.S. Lazio with the agreement holding an option to buy at the end of the season.
“Postiga has travelled to Rome today to undergo his medical with the permission of Valencia.”
The former Tottenham striker has been signed as a replacement for Sergio Floccari after he departed for Sassuolo and has now begun training with the Neroverdi.
