Paris Saint-Germain and Azzurri midfielder Marco Verratti admits that he’d like to stay with the Parisians for a long time.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Juventus for quite some time, the same club that were apparently interested in him prior to joining the Ligue 1 champions.
“I’m very happy in Paris and the club want me to stay,” Verratti told Telefoot.
“I hope to stay long here in Paris. My son will be born here on April 1st, the city will always be a very important place for me. Playing football makes me smile, and my dream has come true.
Verratti then talked about his team’s future ambitions.
“Winning the Champions League is one of the goals to win,” Verratti continued.
“The team is built for this with players like Edinson Cavani or Marquinhos. Same with the cup and the league itself.”
