AC Milan have reportedly agreed terms with Cagliari exile Michael Agazzi over a proposed June transfer.

The 29 year-old has refused to renew his contract with the Sardinians and has been sent on loan to Chievo for the remainder of the season.

Sky Sport Italia understands Agazzi has agreed to terms with the Rossoneri and is set to join the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Rossoneri had registered an interest in signing the player but seemed content to wait for his contract to expire earlier this season.

Milan could deposit Agazzi’s contract with the Lega Serie A in the next few days, however it won’t actually begin until July 2014.

Agazzi has made over 100 appearances for Cagliari since arriving in 2010.
