Fiorentina will be looking to the Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena as model for their new stadium.
The Viola finally agreed a deal with the municipality in January to build a new ground in the Mercafir area of Florence.
“We willl not follow Juve’s stadium as a model but we will look at Bayern’s home ground,” Fiorentina owner Diego Della Valle told Radio24.
“If we will able to get a new stadium, it will provide a lot of services for the city of Florence. It will be an innovative project.”
Fiorentina would like to build a new stadium in the way to supplant the Stadio Artemio Franchi, their current home, where they have played since 1931.
