Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia will reportedly remain with his current club rather than join Galatasaray as previously expected.
The 25-year-old had been linked with a move away from the Nerazzurri during the January transfer window and was seemingly set to join Gala before Turkey’s transfer window closed on Monday, though now the deal has apparently been called off by the Italian side.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, negotiations between Inter and Galatasaray began to come to a halt ahead of the Milan side’s match with Juventus on Sunday, which ultimately resulted in the Italian international being pulled off the market on Sunday night.
The defender is now expected to stay with the Biscione until the end of the current season and may even remain in Milan until his contract expires in June 2015.
Andrea Ranocchia arrived at Inter from Genoa in 2011 and has scored one goal in his 14 Serie A appearances for the club this season thus far.
