Inter midfielder Ricardo Alvarez is set to miss several weeks of action due to a muscle injury.
The 25-year old picked up the injury while training with the squad ahead of this weeken’s fixture against Sassuolo.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Argentine’s problem was initially thought to be a regular knock but it was later understood that it will take him up to four weeks for the Argentine to recover.
In addition to the match against the Neroverdi, Alvarez, who has scored four goals this season, will most likely miss out on his team’s trips to Fiorentina and Roma, as well as their home match against Cagliari.
