Inter to fight Galatasary for Arsenal defender Sagna

Inter are rumored to be interested in signing Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna at the end of the season but could face stiff competition from Roberto Mancini’s Galatasary.

Nerazzurri officials have been in the UK finalising a deal to bring Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic to Milan and are now interested in strengthening their back line further.

According to The Mirror, it is thought that Galatasary are prepared to offer Sagna €100,000 per week, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

It is understood the full-back has requested the same sum of money to remain in London, however, could move on after seven years at Arsenal.

Inter are believed to be the Frenchman’s favoured destination but it is reported that he has received a lucrative offer from Liverpool.

Inter may also be interested Patrice Evra who’s deal expires at Manchester United in the summer as Nerazzurri president Eric Thohir looks to establish the club as a European force.

Sagna has make 202 appearances for Arsenal scoring four goals, with Evra scoring seven in 262 since joining from Monaco in 2006.
