The agent of Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli has confirmed his client is nearing a contract extension with the club.
Barzagli has been in the subject of renewing his contract for a while, and it seems the powers above are finally going to reward the Italian international, whose contract runs out in 2015.
“The signing of the new contract for Andrea with Juventus is very close,” Claudio Orlandini confirmed to Tuttomercatoweb.
“We are talking with the club and there are no problems whatsoever.”
The 32 year old centre back was signed from German outfit Wolfsburg in 2011, and has been pivotal in the success for the Bianconeri under coach Antonio Conte’s reign.
