New Juventus striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo believes coach Antonio Conte is a phenomenon and knows how to secure good results.

The 28-year-old, who is currently on loan with the Bianconeri from Southampton until the end of the season, has admitted that he’s still settling into Conte’s demanding training routines, though he understands that it plays a big part in the club’s success.

Osvaldo spoke to JTV about his time in Turin thus far and praised the tactician, as well as fellow Juve forwards Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.

“I struggled a bit in the first few workouts,” said the Italian international. “Also because the coach has you run a lot, but it’s only a matter of habit.

“Conte is a phenomenon. He’s prepared and demands a lot, but then the results are seen.

“Everything is great, from the structure of Vinovo to the organisation of the club. Once I arrived I quickly understood that I’ve come to one of the biggest clubs in Italy and one of the best in Europe.

“Llorente is a very strong player and a great guy. He doesn’t only have the face of a good person, he truly is one.

“Tevez? I’ve been a Boca Juniors fan since childhood and when I lived in Argentina I paid for tickets to see Carlos play.

“Now to be on the same team as him is fantastic.”
