The 24-year-old Montenegrin international was closely linked with the Bianconeri last summer during his time at Fiorentina, but eventually made the switch to the Etihad Stadium, moving to England in a €26 million deal plus €4m in bonuses.
According to Tuttosport, la Vecchia Signora may now move for Jovetic who could be tempted by a return to the peninsula as he currently finds himself behind Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero in the Citizens attacking pecking order.
Juve director general Giuseppe Marotta is proposing a transfer that will look to bring the Partizan Belgrade youth product to Turin on an initial loan deal, with the right to buy at season’s end for a maximum of €15m.
It remains to be seen what the Manchester club want to do with the forward, but if he is put on the market, the Bianconeri will be one of the favourites to sign him provided that he is willing to reduce his wages, which currently stand at €5m per season.
