Legendary Inter midfielder Gabriele Oriali believes that the Nerazzurri must be structured in a better manner in order to achieve success in the long run.

The Italian, who made more than 200 appearances for the Nerazzurri, has been linked with a return to the club after the recent sacking of technical director Marco Branca.

However, the 61-year-old has insinuated that greater changes are needed if the club want to return to their winning ways.

“I do not think I can be the cure for all,” spoke Oriali to Radio 24.

“Without the reference point of Massimo Moratti, the team has lost a bit of it’s identity.”

Oriali also refused to point out new boss Walter Mazzarri as the sole reason for the Nerazzurri’s struggles this campaign.

“Mazzarri is not the only one to blame.

“Inter needs to reorganize the corporate structure and the technical department as well.”

Inter currently sit in fifth position with 36 points.
