AC Milan defender Adil Rami has revealed that he’s happy to have already scored his first goal for the Rossoneri.

The 28-year-old, who just finalised his loan move to the Serie A side from Valencia during the January transfer window, saved the Diavolo from a loss after scoring the team’s equalising goal in their 1-1 draw with Torino at the San Siro on Saturday.

Rami spoke to Sky Sport Italia after the match about his goal and commented on his time in Milan thus far.

“I’m happy for my first goal, I was experiencing a difficult moment,” said the French international. “I had gone four months without playing, now I’m fine physically.

“We offered a good performance, but it’s normal that we’d always rather win. My arrival in Italy has been going well, everything is totally different in La Liga. I’m continuing to work, I can still improve.

“Compliments to Torino, they played a good game. We need to take time and have confidence, as the module is new for us. We must continue to work.”
