Reports in England suggest that Manchester United are keen on bringing in Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic when the summer transfer window opens.

With United struggling for form in the English Premier League so far this season, speculation is mounting that the Red Devils will be looking to make wholesale changes this summer and midfield reinforcements represent a key area of concern.

While Pjanic’s contract runs until June 2015, Talksport report that Manchester United boss David Moyes is preparing a bid for the Bosnian playmaker this coming summer to test Roma’s resolve on a player they risk losing for a free a year later

For their part, Roma are hoping to convince the player to renew his contract in the coming months.

With three goals and four assists to his name in 21 Serie A appearances so far this term, Pjanic has been a key part of his side’s successful campaign and Roma are understandably reluctant to sanction the player’s exit.
