Giuseppe Sculli has revealed his happiness on his return to Liguria where he enters his third spell with Genoa.
As his chances in the Lazio first team found to be limited, Sculli had pushed for the move away from the capital club. The Italian striker’s transfer request was accepted and in the last day of the transfer window, Lazio decided to send Sculli to Genoa on loan till the end of the season.
“I’m happy. Returning to Genoa is a bit like being back in my home,” Sculli told Gazetta dello Sport.
In his three year spell in the capital club, Sculli appeared in Eagles’ shirt only for 24 occasions, scoring only four times.
