Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has insisted that the Bianconeri are ready for their derby match against Torino on Sunday.

The Old Lady won their first leg Europa League round of 32 match at home against Trabzonspor with a 2-0 result on Thursday, which the 30-year-old admits has left him a bit tired, and are already preparing for their derby against the Granata at Juventus Stadium on Sunday.

Tevez spoke to Sky Sport Italia after the victory on Thursday and conceded that Trabzonspor still pose a threat to Juve, while also commenting on the upcoming Turin derby.

“We’re not calm, as qualification for the next round is still in the balance,” said the Argentine.

“We’ll continue to work and will be looking for a second victory against Trabzonspor like the one we were able to secure at home.

“The Turin derby? I’m a little tired, as it hasn’t even been a full day since our Europa League match, but we’re ready for the challenge with Torino.”
