Juventus striker Pablo Osvaldo has reasserted his desire to feature for Italy at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
The 28-year-old Argentine born striker was on target for the first time for his new side during their 2-0 Europa League win over Trabzonspor on Thursday night.
The Italian international spoke to Rai Sport at the conclusion of the match about the importance of him getting his Juve career off to a great start.
“It was very nice as a goal early on gives one faith and it is very positive to start with a win partly due to your own goal,” he said.
“Playing with Tevez is not a problem and is instead a pleasure as he is a phenomenal player, who makes things easy for you on the pitch.”
When asked as to whether he had his sights on a World Cup berth, the striker made no secret of his desire.

“[The World Cup] is a goal that I have,  if I am in good form and am picked it’s certainly a priority for me.”
