Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella is being closely observed by Tottenham Hotspur as the English club are reportedly interested in his services for next season.
The former Roma midfielder has become one of Italy’s most exciting young coaches following his successes at Fiorentina after a great run at Catania.
According to Calcionews24.com and Sport Direct News the 39 year-old could be on the Spurs bench in June.
Spurs recently appointed Tim Sherwood following the sacking of Andre-Villas Boas but it appears they remain on the lookout for a more proven manager come next season.
Montella has made his name by playing enthralling possession-based football at both Catania and now Fiorentina.
Viola are in the knockout round of the Europa League and in the semi-final of the Coppa Italia.
