Former AC Milan full-back Gianluca Zambrotta expressed his preference to Pippo Inzaghi over Clarence Seedorf for the Rossoneri’s bench.
The 37-year-old has currently a player-coach role at second division Swiss side Chiasso and commented on the Diavolo’s the decision to hire Seedorf after Massimiliano Allegri was sacked.
The former Italian international spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport and was clear about what he would do if he was on the Rossoneri’s board.
“I was always saying that Clarence Seedorf has a very strong personality, charisma and he is very clever,” he stated. “But if it was up to me I would have done another choice. That of Pippo Inzaghi”.
Zambrotta was a teammate of both Milan’s legends and won with them the Scudetto of 2010-11 and the Supercoppa Italiana of 2011.
