Barbara Berlusconi has reiterated AC Milan’s future plans, insisting the Rossoneri will focus on young players “without giving up on the top players.”

The club are currently wallowing in 10th position and despite winning against Chievo Verona at the weekend, a European place at any level looks unlikely.

“In recent months with [AC Milan vice president] Adriano Galliani you opened a comparison that was certain hard but today I welcome that,” Berlusconi told Four Four Two Italia.

“It’s a useful comparison and constructive that concerns all corporate areas and that will bring significant changes.

“I am sure that this clarification is newfound community of intent and will not fail to promote Milan.Today our relationship is good and in the spirit of cooperation.”

Ms Berlusconi also commented on the future plans of Milan in terms of transfer acquisition.

“Milan is facing a profound reorganization. You are equipping to better  meet the new challenges of a football world that certainly has changed.

“We are aiming on young people with a structure of observers able to pick up new talent in the world, but this is without sacrificing the great purchases of a great top player.”

Barbara also confirmed that coach Clarence Seedorf was a choice of Silvio Berlusconi, who has long been fond of the Dutchman.

“No.  It is a choice of my father who has always estimated as professional and as a man.”

The president’s daughter also spoke about the prospect of a new stadium telling the outlet that a new Milan home “must be a livable place seven days a week and Milan is considering more solutions.”
