A brace from Antonio Cassano and goals from Amauri and Jonathan Biabiany secured an impressive win at the San Siro for the Ducali amidst a tense atmosphere for the home team.
“The atmosphere [in the San Siro]? I played many years for Milan. I feel sorry for the situation,” Donadini admitted to Sky Sport Italia.
“Looking from the outside it is clear that a team in this situation will be criticised by the fans, however I can say the Rossoneri took to the field to win and turn this situation around.”
He also answered questions on his side’s sixteen game unbeaten run.
“To be honest this has been one of the best performances of my boys. I have to congratulate my team, it is never easy to win at the San Siro.
“I thank the players for the great desire and enthusiasm with which they gained the victory.”
