Ahead of Sunday’s game against Genoa, Parma coach Roberto Donadoni has warned his side not to take Genoa lightly.
Even though Genoa currently sit 12th in the Serie A table, Donadoni believes that they can beat any team on their day.
“We must be careful of Genoa, they are in good shape and they made life very hard for Juventus last week,” Donadoni said during his pre-match press conference.
“Maybe it’s less apparent because of where they are in the table, but they can make life difficult for anyone.
“I’m expecting a good response from the team, we must play well and adapt to the match as we always do.
“We have an identity and we must show it on the pitch, maybe even with more determination this time.
“Genoa will be difficult to play against but I prefer to concentrate on my own team rather than worry about the opposition.”
Parma are currently on a club-record 16 game unbeaten run and will look to extend that run at the expense of the Rossoblu.
