Cagliari forward Victor Ibarbo has expressed that he is only thinking of his current team, amid speculation the player could be leaving the outfit in the summer.
The Colombian international has been tracking interest from a host of European giants, including Spanish heavyweight Barcelona and current Serie A champions, Juventus.
However the 23 year old has played down such rumours, indicating he is fully concentrated in helping I Rossoblu avoid relegation.
“In my mind I have just helping Cagliari to avoid the relegation,” the player voiced to Italian newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Then will come the national team.”
Ibarbo progressed to Sardinia from Atletico Nacional in 2012, he currently has an agreement with Cagliari until June 2015.
On May 11, 2013, the forward wowed spectators of his brilliance, by scoring a phenomenal goal against ensuing league winners Juventus.
The goal is described by many as comparison to former Milan great, George Weah’s effort against Hellas Verona in 1996.
