Inter are trying to tie up a deal quickly for Torino and Italy star Alessio Cerci before the World Cup commences.

The 26 year old ex-Roma forward has become one of the stars of the league this season, cementing himself in the national set up in the process.

Il Giornale report that Inter have already contacted the Granata to try and thrash out a deal in the next couple of months to avoid his price possibly rising as a result of his performances at the World Cup in Brazil.

AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and top clubs from England have all been linked with the Torino star, but Inter hope to steal a march on them by sealing the deal early.

Cerci has netted 11 goals and provided eight assists in 25 games for Torino this campaign.
