Inter will make a move for Genoa’s Sime Vrsaljko if a bosman move for Arsenal’s Bacary Sagna fails to materialize.
Nerazzurri director Piero Ausilio has already flown to London to offer the 31 year old French international Sagna a three year contract to join in the summer, given the defenders contract expires in June.
Tuttosport reveal that it is likely that Sagna will renew his deal to extend his stay at the Emirates, but Inter will not throw in the towel until the renewal becomes official.
If the likely scenario plays out that Sagna signs a new contract with Arsenal, Inter will turn to the 22 year old Vrsaljko as they look to strengthen the right wing back position.
Vrsaljko has made 18 appearances for Genoa this season, impressing many observers with his performances.
