Juventus face competition from rivals Inter for the signature of Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic in the summer.

The 27-year-old Croatian’s future at the club has been in some doubt ever since the German giants announced the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski on a free in the summer, earlier this year.

The Daily Mirror report that Bayern could let Mandzukic leave while Juventus have been longtime admirers of the Croatian. Inter could also make a move if a move doesn’t eventuate for their prime target, Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko.

Mandzukic has been in blistering form for Bayern despite the transfer speculation this Bundesliga campaign, netting 14 goals in 21 appearances.
