Andrea Barzagli and Federico Peluso of Juventus face injury concerns that will require further treatment, meaning they will definitely miss the Europa League clash against Fiorentina.

Both players were not included in the club’s line up against Genoa on Sunday night.

And according to the Old Lady’s official website, Barzagli suffered a left calf muscle discomfort during the build up to the clash against the Rossoblu. The player was then subjected to tests that has revealed the recurrence of an inflammatory condition.

Peluso, on the other hand, was down with flu symptoms on Sunday. However, he had also experienced some muscular discomfort on the previous day while training. Now tests have shown a first-grade tear of the adductor longus thigh muscle.

While the centre back is reportedly out for around three to four weeks, Peluso’s condition might take longer than that.

Meanwhile, Carlos Tevez has returned to training and will most likely start against the La Viola.
