Juventus are reportedly working to secure coach Antonio Conte’s long term future at the club.

The Lecce native, whose contract in Turin runs out in June 2015, is on course to win his third successive Scudetto with the Bianconeri this season as nearest rivals Roma currently lie 11 points behind the Italian champions, albeit with a game in hand.

According to Tuttosport, Juve have been pressing for Conte to sign an extension to his present deal for a while, but he may only agree to remain in Piedmont if certain conditions are met.

The Old Lady are competing in the Europa League this season, following their unfortunate exit from the Champions League, and they face Fiorentina in the round of 16 later this month with the final to be contested at the Juventus Stadium.

Conte’s aim is to win Europe’s second tier club competition, in order to start a winning cycle on the continent and launch an assault on the Champions League next term.

To achieve these objectives, the 44-year-old wants the club to bring in some top players during the upcoming summer transfer window so they can close the gap on Europe’s elite clubs.
