Cagliari coach Diego Lopez praised his sides earned points after their 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona at the Stadio Is Arenas on Wednesday night.
Nene gave the Sardinian side a win with a header in a game the Rossublu dominated.
“I see these players every day in training, I know what I can give,” Lopez told media following the victory.
“They knew how to make good use of the opportunity given, I got the answers I wanted.
“Today I needed dynamic men like [Agim] Ibraimi and [Matias] Cabrera.
“We did well not to concede space with aggression and determination, We earned three key points.”
