Former Italian national team goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca believes AC Milan should try to sign Parma coach Roberto Donadoni this summer as his experience makes him a better option than current boss Clarence Seedorf.

Pagliuca amassed 39 caps for the Azzurri throughout his career while playing for the likes of Sampdoria, Inter, Bologna, and Ascoli at club level.

Despite never playing for the Rossoneri, Pagliuca nonetheless shared his thoughts on the troubling situation at Milanello.

“Milan, listen to me, get Donadoni and not [Pippo] Inzaghi” Pagliuca said to Radio Onda Libera.

“I played with both, I know them and I appreciate them but right now they need an experienced coach.

“Inzaghi would be a gamble. They need someone with experience and comfortable with pressure.

“Several grave errors were made. Seedorf is someone who has the least blame. The club made a mistake in selling all their good players without an adequate plan to restart.

“This time [Adriano] Galliani didn’t do well like he did other times.”
