Former Arsenal and France player Patrick Vieira believes compatriot, Paul Pogba is more superior as the Juventus midfielder continues to shine.
The former Juventus and Inter maestro reckons Pogba’s talents can continue to ripen, given that the Bianconeri prospect is still only 20 years old.
“Compared to me, Pogba is more attacking, whereas I was more defensively-minded,” Vieira told Tuttosport.
“He pushes forward more and therefore scores more goals. He is also better on a technical level and is certainly more talented than I was.
“He is a player capable of scoring 10 to 15 goals every year. In a three-man midfield I think it suits his style of football.”
Pogba was snapped up by The Old Lady for free, as he chose to leave English giants Manchester United, and with his contract is due to expire in June 2016 with noises within the club, suggesting a deal is on the cards to extending the Frenchman’s stay.
It is believed a host of top European clubs are after the player’s signature, prompting renowned agent Mino Raiola to ask Juve to include a buy-out clause for Pogba’s contract, Juventus are thought to be against this notion.
