Roma coach Rudi Garcia has welcomed plans for the Giallorossi’s new stadium that has provisionally been dubbed as the ‘Stadio della Roma’.

The Frenchman was in buoyant mood as the Giallorossi recently showcased plans of their new stadium recently with the new facility set to hold 52,000, people which could be enlarged to 60,000 for specific events.

“What I like the most about our new home is the garden in the middle,” the former Lille coach stated.

“It is in this garden where we have to work hard to write new, important chapters in Roma’s history.”

The project will cost the club up to €300 million and will allow the outfit to move away from their current ground, the Stadio Olimpico which is shared with local rivals Lazio.
