Roma may attempt to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielders Paulinho and Sandro in the summer, reports in Italy suggest.

The Giallorossi have lost Kevin Strootman to a knee ligament injury which could see the Netherlands international out for up to nine months and the future of Miralem Pjanic is uncertain following links to Paris Saint-Germain.

The pair have contributed a combined ten goals and 11 assists so far this season between them, and the Corriere dello Sport suggest that the capital club will be looking to strengthen their central midfield come the summer.s

The newspaper claims that Spurs’ Brazilian pair will head the list of likely recruitments and that the chance of a deal being completed could be good thanks to the club’s ties with Spurs sporting director Franco Baldini.

Parma’s Marco Parolo is also touted as another option.
