With talk of Federico Marchetti departure from Lazio at the end of the season it appears that Zeljko Brkic of Udinese is heading the list of potential replacements for the Italian international.
Once first-choice himself with the Zebrette the 27-year-old has been displaced from between the posts in Udine by prodigious young goalkeeping talent Simone Scuffet, therefore, both player and club seem open to a potential transfer.
However, the Serbian international will not be guaranteed a starting spot with the Biancocelesti with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that he will still need to fight current number one Etrit Berisha for his place in the side.
After arriving in Italy from Vojvodina in 2011 Brkic spent a spell on loan at Siena before making 37 appearances in all competitions during the 2012-13 season as Udinese secured Europa League qualification.
