AC Milan star Kaka has reiterated his desire to stay at the club past this season despite reports linking him with a summer exit from the San Siro.

The 31-year-old Brazilian international has proved a good signing for Milan this season, despite his clubs poor campaign and his loss could prove a major blow for the rebuilding Rossoneri.

Kaka has a clause in his contract in which he is free to leave the club in the event that Milan fail to reach the Champions League next season, which has thrown his future at the club in doubt, something the Brazilian has played down.

“My desire is to stay but there are personal things to fix and decide,” Kaka told SportMediaset during an interview.

“Fans do not need worry, I will not play with them. The intention is to remain but I also must weigh the personal factors and the family. The goal next year is to aim to win the league.

“[Clarence] Seedorf? He has to get used to the coaching experience. He is an intelligent person, he will learn quickly.

“[On the ill-feeling in the locker room] It is not true that there is a split dressing room. If I’m going to agree with a person more than another it does not mean that there is a split dressing room.

“[Mario] Balotelli? I think he’s a great football player. He must win more and do things as a protagonist. He can become a champion, he has great talent and I’m delighted to have him as a friend.
