On Tuesday, many Serie A and Serie B players will feature in a charity match at Bergamo to remember Piermario Morosini.

The former Udinese, Bologna, Reggina, Padova, Vicenza and Livorno died at age 25 on April 14 2012 during Pescara-Livorno because of an inherited heart disease.

Ansa reports that many former team-mates of the midfielder will take part to the event, called “Amici di Morosini,” organized by AIA, the Italian Players Association, and promoted by the municipality of Bergamo, Morosini’s hometown, and by his family.

There will also be a fundraising for the Morosini Foundation, which will be constituted in the coming weeks.
