Cagliari coach praises ‘great performance’ against Parma

Cagliari’s coach Ivo Pulga praised the players after the important 1-0 win against Parma on Sunday, which was a big step for the Rossoblu in guaranteeing their stay in Serie A next season.

 grabbed all three points for the Rossoblu from the penalty spot in the first half, while Parma went down to 10 men early in the second half when ’s hit an opponent away from the ball.

“We have achieved our goal three match days from the end and the credit goes to the guys today because they performed brilliantly with great quality,” Pulga told Sky Sport Italia.

“If they play like this at home, it makes them difficult to defeat.”

Pulga, who recently returned to Cagliari after the dismissal of Diego Lopez, also spoke about his future at the club.

“I don’t know, I’m going on a holiday in May and then we’ll see,” Pulga said.

“Cagliari is very important to me, I played here and I’d like to stay.”
