Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has again been linked with a surprise return to former club Inter.
The 33-year-old Cameroon international has been paired with a move to his former employers on numerous occasions, as he spent two highly successful seasons with the Nerazzurri, forming a key part of Jose Mourinho’s famous treble-winning squad in 2010.
With his deal at Stamford Bridge due to expire in the summer, the Mirror reports that a second stint in Milan could be a possibility, as contact between the Biscione and the player’s entourage has already been made.
Eto’o has been Chelsea’s most prolific striker in domestic league play this season, with eight goals from 19 appearances, and he has scored a further three times in eight Champions League encounters.
