Chievo Verona goalkeeper Michael Agazzi spoke to press following his side’s 1-0 loss to Hellas Verona on Saturday evening.
The goalkeeper pulled off a number of saves despite the Flying Donkey’s loss and spoke to the press regarding a prospective Milan move.
“I’m very sorry, we wanted to bring home at least a point but we couldn’t,” Agazzi told press following the match.
“We played a good first half; it was not enough but the attitude of my team was good. I’m very motivated, I want to help my teammates to attain salvation.”
Michael Agazzi is rumoured to be the next Milan goalkeeper and the Chievo man was flattered by the links.
“These things are nice, [Christian] Abbiati is my undisputed idol, this only makes me proud.
” I’ve spoken of this possibility, but for I’m thinking only of the salvation of Chievo Verona.
“I’m glad that President Campedelli has given me this opportunity, not everyone can get a chance like that. I thank the president.”
