Torino striker Ciro Immobile has praised the Granata faithful as he continues to hold belief that they can qualify for the Europa League.

Immobile scored the winning goal, his 21st of the season, during the Granata’s 2-0 victory over Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday afternoon.

“These people deserve our position in the standings,” he told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“We will give everything right to the end, we have to believe [in Europe].”

The 24 year old remained cool when asked about a place in the Italy squad ahead of this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

“There are three games to go, I have to continue to give more right to the end. If [Cesare] Prandelli picks me I will be happy and ready.

“The signal from Prandelli would be to be included in the 40 (man squad), now I have to wait and continue to work.”

Torino’s next match is away to Chievo.
