Lazio have denied reports that the club is being sold to a Russian conglomerate.
On Saturday, many reports came out stating that Claudio Lotito had received a €150-170 million offer from Russia.
“Regarding the news about an offer from a Russian group for Lazio, the club informs that it is false and unfounded,” the management communicated through the club’s official website.
Lotito has engaged in a lengthy war with the ultras as of late who repeatedly invited him to sell the club.
Lotito took control of the indebted Lazio in 2004.
