Inter striker Rodrigo Palacio agrees with the Biscione’s decision to keep Walter Mazzarri as coach for next season.

The 52-year-old tactician has received some criticism during his debut term as Nerazzurri boss due to the club’s inconsistency with their results this season, but Palacio is confident that the former Napoli man will lead the Milan side to success in the near future.

Palacio spoke to SportMediaset about Mazzarri remaining with Inter, while also commenting on how his own season has been going despite the club’s struggles throughout the campaign.

“Inter’s decision to keep him is the right one, he works well and we must continue with him,” said the 32-year-old Argentine international.

“We have lacked continuity during this season, that’s the difference between us and the teams that are ahead of us in the standings.

“My season? I’m happy. I only have a little regret that I haven’t been able to play with [Diego] Milito as much.”
