Singaporean business tycoon Peter Lim has reportedly made a bid to purchase the Italian giants AC Milan.

The Rossoneri had previously denied reports with Barbara Berlusconi claiming  that the club was not for sale.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Lim has offered €300 million in order to acquire a 51 percent stake in Clarence Seedorf’s side, with current owner Silvio Berlusconi only willing to sell 30 per cent of the club in return.

Lim is said to have made the bid for the Milanese side in person with the help of agents, Jorge Mendes and Giovanni Branchini, acting as the mediators during a meeting with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.

The Asian businessman had also made a bid for Liverpool in the past, while he is thought to have been trying to buy Spanish side Valencia.
