Reja: Lazio are performing a small miracle

Lazio coach, Edy Reja has responded to the whistles which greeted his side at the end of their 3-3 draw at home to Torino by saying he accepts the supporters frustration however he believes his team are performing a small miracle.

In a roller coaster game at the Stadio Olimpico, the Biancocelesti squandered a lead twice before Antonio Candreva eventually salvaged a point for the home side with the last kick of the game.

Il Messaggero are reporting that Laziali appeared to vent their frustration towards Reja at the final whistle, something the 68-year-old poked fun at.

“Evidently I merit the whistles, I am the president’s [Claudio Lotito] man. However I will remain at the Lazio helm.

“We are already preparing for next season and we still have it all to play for this term.

“I am, we are, performing a small miracle and the Europa League is still there, only two points away.”
