The 22-year-old who has struggled with injury since arriving at the San Siro also praised how Kaka has used his experience to help the side recover from a disastrous start to the Serie A campaign.
“It felt fantastic against Livorno even one short involvement,” Saponara told Milan Channel.
“It was important to manage when I would enter the field and in the final minutes I did so with the knowledge that the game should end in the best way possible.
“Congratulations to Kaka who is a great player, he just makes the most of his experience and his spirit of sacrifice is still alive despite everything that has already won as a player.
“With so much experience he is very good at managing his quality on the pitch.”
