Giampiero Ventura hailed his side’s performance and has outlined his clubs ambitions to qualify for the Europa League.

Torino claimed another victory on Sunday after goals from Omar El Khaddouri and Ciro Immobile were enough to see off a hapless Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

“For sides like Verona, Torino and Parma to think about playing in Europe is a great satisfaction,” Ventura told Mediaset.

“Our season has been extraordinary. We have three great players [Ciro Immobile, Alessio Cerci, Matteo Darmian] with ambitions to go to the World Cup with Cesare Prandelli and its a symbol of the important season we are having.

“We’ll try and get to Europe, this squad is extraordinary but how the end of the season plays out is important for the future of the club.”

“We have brought out enthusiasm in the fans who tell me they feel proud to be supporters of the Granata.”

The tactician laid all the praise for his clubs remarkable season at the feet of his three stars Immobile, Cerci and Darmian.

“I collaborate with people who want to grow and put themselves into the discussion,” the tactician said. ” Without their willingness you won’t go very far, the great credit must go to them in particular.”

Ventura also outlined plans for the future of the Granata.

“This year we changed our system to facilitate the characteristics of the players, now we have to assess whether it will change or not,” he continued.

“So much depends on what happens with Cerci and Immobile.  If they stay the framework will go in one direction, if not it will go in another. A lot depends on the future of these two players.”
