AC Milan could be busy in this summer’s transfer market with Newcastle United defender Davide Santon the latest name to be linked with a move to the San Siro.

It is widely expected that Fillipo Inzaghi will replace Clarence Seedorf at the Rossoneri helm this summer and Santon, along with Alessio Cerci, are said to be high on the list of the clubs transfer targets.

According to Sportmediaset.it, the Diavolo have long been interested in acquiring the services of the Italian left-back, who is valued at €10 million by the Premier League club.

Reports are claiming the two clubs are in talks over a potential deal and AC Milan may table an offer including full-back, Kevin Constant, as part of an exchange deal.

The former Inter man signed for Newcastle back in 2011 and has since made 82 appearances for the club however he is allegedly a big fan of Inzaghi and with the Milanese club looking for defensive reinforcements, Santon appears a viable option.
